RAILDATE - your free weekly guide to what's happening, what's new and
what's on
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (1) End of Yahoo Groups - action needed
Yahoo Groups will close completely on 15th December 2020, which does not
come as a huge surprise after the drastic reduction in service last year.
I have set up a replacement on Groups.io which you are recommended to
join as soon as possible - you can do so here
https://groups.io/g/raildate or by simply sending an email to
raildate+subscribe@groups.io
I cannot do a bulk transfer of the existing membership (they charge
money for that!) so THE ONUS IS ON YOU to join the new group if you wish
to continue receiving Raildate every week.
Until the Yahoo group disappears, I shall post to both it and the
Groups.io group, so for a short transition period, you will receive
Raildate from both sources.
Remember, if you are a Facebook member you can also join the Raildate
group here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1464457607123111
I hope you will continue to enjoy Raildate via Groups.io or Facebook
after the Yahoo service ends in December.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (2) Short break in transmission
There will be no Raildate next week or the following week.
The next issue will be on 7th November 2020
Now, on with the show...!
